Gridluck is a game made by Faran, LLC.
No accounts, no analytics of our own. Gridluck has no sign-in and no chat. We don't run analytics or tracking of our own, and we never see who you are.
Ads. Without the full game, Gridluck shows ads from Google AdMob between the days of a run and after a Classic game, never during play. You can also choose to watch an ad to finish a run past its free days. To show and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address and how you interact with ads, as described in how Google uses information from apps that use its services. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, you are asked for consent through Google's consent message, and you can change your choice in Settings > Privacy choices. The full game has no ads.
Purchases. The optional full-game unlock goes through Apple's App Store or Google Play, which handle payment under their own privacy policies. We never see your payment details. The game only learns that the purchase was made, so it can open the full game and stop showing ads. On Android, Google's billing library, which the game uses to sell through Google Play, also sends Google its own diagnostic data.
Your progress stays on your device. Settings, best scores, achievements and saved runs are stored on your phone or tablet, in the app's own storage. On an iPhone or iPad with iCloud Backup turned on, your device may include them in your own backup, which we can't see. Deleting the app deletes them. You can also erase them in Settings > Reset all progress. That reset keeps the full game, and Settings > Restore purchase brings it back after a reinstall or on a new device.
Sharing is up to you. When you tap Share on a daily result, the text goes to the share sheet your device provides. We never see it.
Children. Gridluck is meant for players 13 and over. Its ads are limited to ones rated for general audiences.
Changes. If a future version changes any of this, we will update this page and the app's store listing before that version ships.
