How do I play?

Every game is four quarters, on offense and on defense. With the ball, pick RUN or PASS before each snap, swipe up or down (or tap the arrows) to cut between lanes, tap JUKE to dart past a tackler and SPIN to bounce off one. On 4th down, punt, or kick a field goal past the 50. On defense, guess their play, steer your defender into the runner's lane, tap TACKLE to dive and JUMP to knock down or pick off a pass.

How does the season work?

Ten games to the championship, each harder than the last. Lose and you play that week again. Win the title and the next season starts a step harder.

What are play cards?

After every win you pick one of three cards, like an extra juke or a stiff arm. They last the whole season.

It's too hard (or too easy)

EASY is the default: moves go on one tap. HARD puts every juke, spin, throw and kick on a timing meter. Switch on the title screen.

What's the Daily Drive?

A new challenge every day: one rival and three play cards, the same for everyone.

Achievements?

On Android, Touchdown Dash has 15 Google Play Games achievements. The trophy on the title screen shows them.

Ads and Remove Ads

The game is free. On Android an ad plays after some games, never during one, and before kickoff you can choose to watch one for an extra play card. NO ADS on the title is a one-time purchase that ends the ads after games. It comes back on a new phone signed in to the same Google account.

Where is my progress saved?

Only on your device, except through your phone's own iCloud or Google backup if it's turned on. Deleting the app deletes your progress.

Does it need the internet?

No, the game plays offline. Ads and Play Games need a connection; without one the game just goes on.
