OVERDUB is a game made by Faran, LLC.
We collect no data. OVERDUB has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The game itself makes no network requests: it plays fully offline.
Purchases. The full game is an optional one-time purchase through Google Play or Apple's App Store, which handle payment under their own privacy policies. We never see your payment details. The unlock is kept on your device, and Restore Purchases asks the store for it again. On Android, Google's billing library, which the game uses to sell through Google Play, also sends Google its own diagnostic data.
Your progress stays on your device. Settings, stars, best scores and the songs you record are stored on your phone or tablet, in the app's own storage. If you have device backups turned on, your phone may include them in your own iCloud or Google backup, which we can't see. Deleting the app deletes them. You can also erase them in SETUP > ERASE PROGRESS.
Saved videos. When you choose SAVE VIDEO, the game records its own picture and sound into a video file on your device and opens your system's share sheet. The video goes only where you send it. The game never records your camera, your microphone or anything outside the game.
Children. OVERDUB collects nothing from anyone, children included.
Changes. If a future version changes any of this, we will update this page and the app's store listing before that version ships.
